Tourism In Nepal

Tourism is one of the world’s fastest growing industries where different things and activities attract human beings not only for pleasure and entertainment but also for search of knowledge about people living, their life style, culture and tradition. Tourism itself has diversified into heritage tourism, beach tourism, nature tourism, adventure tourism, medical tourism etc to cater to different tastes. Nepal is famous mostly for heritage tourism, nature tourism, adventure tourism and medical tourism. People are tired off seeing the same old places and this has led to the promotion of new foreigner destination in far flung corners of global. In this regard Nepal is also promoting itself by introducing new-new destinations for tourists. Due to number of visiting sites existing in Nepal, we can say “Truly Nepal” /”Incredible Nepal” which means totally focused to tourism industry and tourists too, which is not  found in any other places.
                                    In the capital city of Kathmandu alone there are seven UNESCO world heritage sites and more than 130 monuments of historical significances. The seven world heritage sites situated in Kathmandu are Durbar square, Patan Stupa, Bhaktapur Stupa, Swayambhu temple, Bouddhanath temple, Pashupatinath temple and Changunarayan temple. These heritages sites attract tourists/foreigners which help to increase economy status of the country. The immaculate, taintless original valleys of country are considered to be the most beautiful in the world. Also the federal democratic re-public of Nepal is a home with 8 of the 10 highest mountains. Out of the world, Nepal is known as beautiful country though it is a small country but there are many things that a world recognizes like, Mount Everest, Natural scenarios, river and rivulets, traditions, cultures, values and norms. There are many places like Pokhra, Sauraha, Durbar square, Lumbini etc and also for trekking in Sagramatha, Kanchanjungha, Makalu, Rafting, Bungee jumping etc for foreigners to visit which helps to increase foreign currency. Nepal has fascinated people from all over the world with her secularism and culture. Nepalese people are also identified with their handicrafts, weaving and knitting, local fairs, folk dances and music which delight them and make them to come again and again. They can also spend their time to know about people living in different region like Hilly, Terai and Himalayan. The department of tourism has been formed to promote international and domestic tourism in the country. Most of the area of Nepal is occupied with forest where you can find different species of flora and fauna which adds beauty of Nepal and you can go for study or research on different types of plants like yarsagumba (Cordyceps), Panch aule (Dactylorhyza hatagirea, Jatamansi (spikenard) etc which are mostly used for Ayurvedic/Allopathic treatment.
                                                                     Today, Nepal is emerging as a favored place of medical treatment. The cost of treatment is substantially less than those of developed countries. We operators are now offering attractive packages in collaboration of medical treatment (mostly Ayurvedic and home remedies) which is useful as well as do not have side effects.
