The thought in a paragraph should be connected and developed in a logical order to maintain coherence. The paragraph should be so constructed that one sentence leads on naturally to the next, and there should be a regular logical progression of thought. The logical sense relation between lexical items in a text is simply referred to as coherence. The material of a paragraph can be ordered in many ways, but the appropriate methods can be noted as chronological order, spatial order, logical order, climax, comparison and so on.
